Seasoned Eggs on Toast

1 egg

1 slice of toast

fresh spinach

fresh chives

pinch of salt

pinch of pepper

freshly minced garlic

sliced ham

pinch of cumin

1 tbs olive oil


The exact amount of ingredients for this recipe is up to the cook depending on how flavorful they like their egg. Heat a pan on the stove with the olive oil in it on medium. Crack the egg in the pan so the yolk doesn’t break. Chop up a couple of chives and put them on the egg, along with the minced garlic. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, cumin, and any other spices you like. Let the egg cook for about 3 minutes then flip it over and cook for another minute or two. On a piece of toast, place the spinach, a slice or two or ham, and top it off with the egg. This cook time makes an over-medium egg. For over-easy, take the egg out of the pan a minute after you flip it. For over-hard, let the egg cook for a couple extra minutes.
