This hummus recipe is very traditional and basic, but very delicious. It keeps in the fridge about about 1.5 weeks.

1 can chickpeas

1/2 lemon

1 tsp salt

1 tbs olive oil

black pepper

2 tbs tahini

This can be made in a food processor or blender, depending what you have available. Put the chickpeas, tahini, and olive oil in the food processor and blend until almost smooth. You may need to add more olive oil if the chickpeas don’t blend properly. Then add the half lemon’s worth of juice, salt, and pepper to taste and blend until completely mixed. And that’s it!
